IF ONLY I HAD KNOWN
IDENTIFYING AND CONQUERING ADD IN PARENTS OF ADD CHILDREN
by Cameron R. Lorenc
If you have a child with ADD, or suspect you may have adult ADD, adult ADHD or adult dyslexia please read this book. If you know a loved one or friend who could benefit from reading this book, but they just don’t enjoy reading, read it to them or with them. If you have personally struggled with learning or retaining new information you should consider the possibilities contained in this book with an open mind and heart. I am fully aware that ADD/ADHD issues can be frustrating, confusing and embarrassing. I hope this book not only answers some questions, but also provides you with valuable guidance in a positive direction. If you do not like to read, or have difficulty reading for long periods of time, this book is written in a way that allows you to read in smaller amounts. Just mark your place at one of the sub-headings and continue reading when you feel like it.
If you have questions about ADD medications you may want to read Cameron’s journal entries that virtually spanned a six month period of time. During that six months Cameron was working closely with his doctor. He was prescribed every ADD medication available during that time in order to find which ADD medication had the best positive side effects and the fewest negative side effects if any.
This book started out to be a journal for his children and grandchildren. It has turned out to be true account of his life which is quite similar to countless other adults with ADD. While this book has been valuable to adults discovering their own ADD, it seems to be of equal or greater value to spouses of ADD adults.
